Entertainment Delights For LA Based Royal Princess – Cruisemarsh

Guests embarking on Princess Cruises newest and largest ship to sail the West Coast of the USA and Mexico, Royal Princess, will be in line for a wonderful entertainment program which will include a selection of celebrities on board.
From now through 27th April, Royal Princess will depart on a series of 7 night itineraries to the Mexican Riviera from the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, California. She will then repositon to Alaska in early May.
Princess Cruises also have the longest history of any cruise lines sailing from the Port of Los Angeles and is also no stranger to celebrity status as they were the ocean-going co-star to the many exciting stories of romance and adventure on the high seas in the hit tv series, “The Love Boat.”

As part of the cruise line’s Encounters with Discovery speaker series, the following celebrities will be sailing on board Royal Princess during her program of Mexican Riviera cruises:
Oscar-Winning Make-Up Artist Michael Westmore: 6th-13th April:
Most famous for his work in various Star Trek productions, winning nine Emmy Awards, Michael Westmore is a renowned make-up artist. As a member of the prominent Westmore family, he is part of the fourth generation to serve in Hollywood as a make-up artist. He began his career at Universal Studios in 1961 and has spanned four decades, including a partnership with CIA to create make-up kits for spies overseas. His pinnacle award came in 1985 when he won the Academy Award for Best Make-Up for his work on the film Mask.
Award-Winning Composer, Producer and Arranger John Mauceri: 13th-20th April:
John has had a distinguished and an extraordinary career which has seen him work with the world’s greatest opera companies and symphony orchestras and also on the musical stages of Broadway and Hollywood as wel as prestigious halls of academia. He is regarded as the world’s leading performer of the music of Hollywood’s émigré composers and has taken the lead in the preservation and performance of a wide range of music whilst supervising/conducting permieres by composers as diverse as Debussy, Stockhausen, Korngold, Bernstein, Hindemith, Elfman, Ives and Shore. With also being an accomplished artist, he has over 70 albums to his name and has won awards such as Grammy, Tony, Olivier, Drama Desk, Edison, Cannes Classique and Billboard awards whilst also having two Diapasons d’Or, three Emmys and four Deutsche Schallplattern Awards to his name.
TV Host and Daredevil Tory Belleci: 20th-27th April:
Tory Belluci is an American television personality and model maker. He is best known for his role on Discovery Channel’s tv program, Mythbusters. His fellow Mythbusters stars, Kari Byron and Grant Imahara regard Tory as more of a daredevil and with that, performs the shows most dangerous stunts including testing “Red Flag to a Bull” myth.

Author and former Royal Butler Paul Burrell: 27th April-4th May:
Paul is a former member of staff of the British Royal Household and was a footman for Queen Elizabeth II and later a Butler to the late Diana, Princess of Wales. He has appeared in the media prominently since Diana’s death in 1997 and since 2004 has pertaken in the occasional entertainment shows. in 2003, he released his memoir A Royal Duty which followed his career as a member of the Royal Family’s staff and delves into detail with his time as Butler to both the Prince and Princess of Wales at Highgrove House in Gloucestershire and then on to his move to Diana’s staff at Kensington Palace after her divorce from Princess Charles. It also detail his acquittal of theft charges. The book was an international best-seller.

2018 Miss America Cara Mund: 4th-11th May:
From Bismarck, North Dakota, Cara Mund is an American pageant titleholder. In June 2017, she was crowned Miss North Dakota before she was crowned Miss America 2018 in Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 2017. She won a $50,000 scholarship as part of the Miss America title and is also the first contestant from North Dakota to win the title. In 2018, she served as National Goodwill Ambassador for the Children’s Network Hospitals and worked close with the USO.

Royal Princess was the first the Royal class of ships and debuted in June 2013 after being named by The Duchess of Cambridge in Southampton.
